Louis received his Master’s in chemical engineering at Miami University in the United States in 2018. He is now completing his fourth year as a PhD candidate at the University of Luxembourg while doing research at LIST.

In his research, Louis looks into tress and analyzes the xylem structures inside that move water from the roots to the leaves, determining their carbo-cost.
